SCRIPT GENERATED PAVILLION

The image bellow was entirely generated by a script written in Racket and using the parametric design tool Rosetta. The algorythm has enough parameters to allow several iteration of the same design principal, such as the number of waves on the roof and their height, the inner and outer radius, the number, shape and location of structural pilars, the number of subdivisions on the curtain wall and the configuration of the inner courtyard.

URBAN GRID GENERATION

An exercise on emulating the rules and characteristics of Le Corbusier's Ville Contemporaine into a parametric model in Grasshopper. From a user defined polygon the program generates the grid structure and allows for manipulationg the main parameteressuch as the location and width of the two main avenues and streets, the location, size and orientation of the central plaza, the height of the buildings and its manipulation via attractors. The program can be easily changed to accomodate more streets, plazas and avenues if needed.

A simple Grasshopper alogrythm for generating panels with different configurations. Each tile is generated by specifying two curve profiles (in this first iteration both need to have the same parametric curve). The original inspiration was to generate different shapes for sound insulation panels that could be installed in pre-existing spaces. The panels would be fabricated in dark agglomerate cork boards.
